What is the Key Requirement of the Self Employed Persons Program?

The key requirement of this program includes relevant experience in cultural activities or athletics. The immigration candidate must also have an intention and ability to make a “significant contribution” to the cultural life or athletics of Canada.

 

Relevant experience means that you either have participated in cultural activities or athletics at a world-class level (such as Olympics), or worked as a self-employed person in those fields.
